With the anxiety of troubling times, we must first pause and take time to reflect.

The Purchase community and public are invited to come together for an inclusive gathering to listen to stories, meditate, and self-reflect. This event will center around the late composer, Pauline Oliveros's, "Tuning Meditation”, a "sonic meditation and tuning of the mind and body" which encourages those gathered to listen deeply, meditate on sound, and utilize listening as activism.

Speakers Ashley Jackson (DMA, Juilliard) and Edna Bonhomme (doctoral candidate, Princeton) will speak on racial injustice, women's rights, xenophobia, and offer insight into how to cope with a society that is changing under our feet.
